In Scotland from the sixteenth century through to the eighteenth century a form of writing known as secretary hand was employed by clerks for official documents such as sasine records, kirk sessions, wills and testaments, and correspondents.
Scottish vernacular words, archaic terms, old place names, phonetic spelling and abbreviations can often make those documents difficult to transcribe.

Having studied palaeography (the study of old handwriting) at the University of Strathclyde, I can assist you by doing a full transcription of a document or providing a summary of a document in modern English or both.
